Not sure where to put this, but here goes anyway,
Been quoted £1980 to supply and fit and remove the old door, an electrically operated roller type door for our single width garage.
Does that seem a reasonable price to folks?

We paid about £850 last year, including a bit of other work necessary. It was fitted by a local man but came from a very reputable supplier. Other companies with shiney brochures were looking for £1300-£1600.
I've no idea...but if you get at least three quotes, then you'll know if prices are reasonable.
The reason I say that you need more quotes is because we don't know what is entailed in your job...is the electrical supply handy or is there a fair bit of electrical work involved, the material of the new door etc
Seems a bit high in price. I'd go along the lines of zebo and see what is available locally.

Hans.

The price quoted does include fitting and removal and disposal of the old doors.
Cannot find any other local suppliers either.

People may travel have you tried google?

Did that and the company it came up with is the one I have already got a quote from. Strange really.
All the other companies I have had quotes from are much more expensive because of the distance they have to travel to deliver.
Thanks anyway folks.
