How does the iPod Shufffle plug into the back of your computer? Does it plug straight in or is there a cable with it? And would it be handy just to get an iPod dock?

it can just plug straight into a USB port (you may have one available on the front of your computer?)

if not, you can either buy a cheap USB extension cable (a few pounds), or get the dock (more expensive, but looks cooler on your desk...)
