I keep hearing stuff about it … I heard that most people will complete it online. But what will actually happen, will they write to people to tell them which web address to go to, or email (HOW?) or something else

We got a letter yesterday with a web address and a unique number to key in to access the form. It has to be done on Sunday 21st march.
For information only, there will be no Census in Scotland this year.

Covid
don't honestly know, perhaps that's how the Scottish Parliament wanted it.
Probably because the rest of us are doing it this year !!!!
The census was a good earner for me, delivering and then collecting the forms. My wife did it, too

England have covid too!
so we do, perhaps their civil servants didn't get their fingers out in time.
I always state my religion as Jedi, as do many others.
Does it, apg? I did mine yesterday and it was submitted and accepted with email confirmation.
Yes, it gives you the site bednobs and a number to put in, which confirms your address.
Will delaying the Scots Census by a year be that big a deal?
can't they just get the info off Bill Gates?
its up to the Scots when they set it, they have to collate the info for the future finances, where money goes to...
From the letter ' All households should complete the census on Sunday 21st march 2021 or as soon as possible after'

I've accessed my census on line using the code and one of the questions clearly states 'we are counting people in this household (address) on Sunday 21st March.

I didn't take it any further so don't know if it would be accepted before 21st march, but its pretty pointless to me filling in a form, which is a legal obligation, stating who was at your house three weeks in the future.
We won't have visitors, I think lockdown will prevent that anyway.
