My outfit is co-managing a number of civil society organizations that are working to empower local people to engage government at both national and local level and demand their rights.

It is likely that conflict might arise from such engagements. I want to know whether anyone has ever had instances of these conflicts? If so, what was the nature of these conflicts and how did they go about resolving them? Are there any resources available on the net that we could use.
