I'm sure there are many that would like to help you, but I'm not sure what you mean by cb... a little more information would be helpful...
If you mean a CB (Citizens Band) radio , it works the same way as any other two way transciever. Personally I just set it on the desired channel (80 to choose from) and speak to my mates in other trucks. Very handy when we are working in roadworks and one truck is needed at a time, or you are out of sight of each other.
Can't help, I do not know what a cb is.

Citizens Band radios convert power (often from a battery) into electromagnet waves (like visible light but lower in frequency) of a selected frequency band (like red or green or blue, but at a lower frequency). The waves are modulated (varied) by the signal from a microphone.


These waves are received and the desired frequency band is selected. The modulation in the wave is detected, amplified (magnified) and delivered to a speaker.
