When you drive along the road, often there is a discarded shoe on it? Why only one shoe? What happened to the other one?

Well, if you're driving along, I suppose it's possible that the other shoe may be around nearby. It's just that you're moving so you may not notice it in time, or it might be that traffic movement has thrown the other shoe off the road where you can't see it?
