Does anyone know the name of the flexible rod they use in desk lamps? (it allows you to move it to any position and it stays there) And where can I buy some of this stuff?

Cheers

I don't know what it called but it is also used on microphone supports and the most likely place to get some would be a sound/music equipement shop or suppliers.
I've a feeling it's called a Goose Neck. I seem to remember that being applied to the microphone stand variety.
