Yes to both. Mobile to landline can generally be set up from within the phone menu - look for call diverts. You'll get a choice eg divert all calls/divert unanswered etc. If it wont work from your phone menu then you'll have to set it up manually. You'll find instructions in your welcome pack or give your provider a call and ask. Landline to mobile needs this service to be enabled by your supplier and is normally a chargeable service to setup/enable. Do remember though that in either instance you end up paying to receive every call.
Cheers, moonacre - I regularly divert my mobile to my home phone number but wan't sure if it was possible to do it the other way round. I'll be on the phone to BT forthwith!
Just to emphasise this can work out very expensive. You pick up the cost of the call from your landline to your mobile for these diveretd calls. I do it regularly and often incur charges of many pounds per call. I have occasionally picked up the tab for telesales calls as well, but not any more!! I now use TPS.
Thanks, Stewart! I'm hoping the diversion would only be when absolutely necessary - eg if expecting business calls and can't be in the house to pick up the phone.
Don't be like me, thou, and forget to cancel when you no longer need the divert. I have had people come through on my mobile, - me paying - when I am only feet from the land 'phone! Doesn't matter the odd time but could mount up if you forget to cancel the ivert regularly.
I've just realised where I was when I answered - i.e. on the list of similar questions that AB come up with, some not new, to say the least! You've probably emigrated by now.
