This bulldog I've walked before he bit another dog and pulls towards other dog when he's out. I don't know weather he's had opportunity to socialise with other dogs so he is confused by them.

That is the first thing a decent Rescue will do is to check whether it's neutered or not.

Disgusting comment from Canary @ 15.59.

Ladybirder, I agree on both your comments

If I lived nearer, I could train that Frenchie   quite quickly with a strong one-word command and a short tug on a short lead. Then,  when he obeys, he can be told he's a good boy, repeat and repeat and he will soon get the message who is in control.

15.59 maybe not BA. But should we wait for another tragedy?

Question Author

He is neutered.

No he shouldn't be pts as he no threat to humans.

The owner of the dog came in my there was room for me to restrain the dog.

15.59 maybe not BA. But should we wait for another tragedy?

the  dog in the canal was euthanised ( on the grounds that it was an abandoned fighter)

( death grip on my dog, so put its head under water and it will let go)

Maybe he should also be muzzled.

Maybe he was excited to see his owner!! I thought you said the dog was abandoned at the vet

Abbey, you say he's no threat to humans but trying to stop a strong dog when he's being aggressive is a threat to humans.  Many people have been bitten that way.  If he's attacking anyone - dogs included - he really ought to be muzzled in public.

Question Author

Both him and dog were on the lead.

We were sat down and dog just went past him.

The owner just wanted vet bills paid and sent his condolences.

If you don't know how to do it I'll show you how to walk the dog.

I saw Dr Feelgood sing that

Are we having our time wasted here? Going back over the same ground? Your way of explaining things abbey leaves a lot to be desired- it's very garbled.

PS. French bulldogs are classed as small, half the weight of a big bulldog

//The owner just wanted vet bills paid and sent his condolences//
Why would the owner send condolences? I don't think the bulldog has had to be put down? Is the owner admitting fault?

Question Author

I'm not sure but owner said hope I'm OK. I asked for a pocket bully other day and they said I cant have large bull breeds.
