The Oscars and BAFTA awards

I would like to know if anyone can tell me what winners of either the oscars or bafta awards have done with their awards? Have they put them in the bathroom, a cabinet, auctioned or lost them? If anyone has seen an interview where the star has been asked and can let me know...that would be amazing!

My mum kept my first BAFTA in a display cabinet. The first few OSCARs I kept in the utility room, bu after the seventh, I just took to binning them when I got home from the presentation. Then I stopped turning up for the presenations. Now, you'll notice, nobody even bothers to nominate me.

I doubt anyone has binned, or auctioned off their Oscars (except rojash the superstar) because they remain the property of the Academy, I believe.

Bette davis and helen hayes used theirs as a doorstop.

And i read that glenda jackson kept hers in her bathroom for a while.
