what would happen if you put your finger inside a carnivirous plant such as venus fly trap?

nothing. the plant would just close on your finger. bu tit wouldn't hurt. they are only designed for trapping insects and eat them by digestive processes rather than chewing
They secrete an enzyme that absorbs the nutrients in the insect. If you leave your finger in there long enough you get a rash on your skin. It's not painful but it itches like hell after a couple of days!
