Digibox for TV

We've bought a digibox for our TV to pick up extra channels and have now have 2 remote controllers. I can't seem to get the order correct for switching them on without getting a screen covered with snowstorm every time. Please give me some idiot-proof instructions for getting it right. Thanks.

I have to switch the TV on first then the Digibox this works correctly every time for me.

It shouldn't make any difference which you switch on first as long as you've got the telly tuned to the correct channel for your Digi box.

How have you connected your STB to the TV?

If by scart then you change your tv channel to AV1 or AV2 and you should get the Freeview channel direct.

If you connect the other STB Scart to your VCR you can record direct as well.
