my partner constantly moves her feet even whilst sitting still watching tv or even just lying in bed.She says it is not a conscious thing but just can't seem to control or stop it.Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful as it not only concerns me but her aswell.Thank you.

She may have restless leg syndrome - see this

Or it may just be a subconscious 'nervous tic' that she has no control over.

Hi jasplaz, I sympathise with you as my wife also does this again whilst watching TV and in bed. She crosses her legs just above the ankle and sways them from side to side. It drives me nuts esp when I'm trying to sleep. I'm afraid I having got any remedies though although I have been tempted to wrap a frying pan around her head.
I'd leave her! Its just annoying me just reading about it. Not very constructive i know but you have to ask yourself "Is she worth it?"
I suffer from this but, living alone, it's only a problem for me. If it keeps me awake, I find that a Paracetamol does the trick. Capsules act quicker than tablets.
