Where are my specs?
There must be an invention where you whistle or something to locate your specs.I only need mine for reading (struggle even then) and then I put them down and cant find them.I've even lost a lens but it was a clear one so it doesnt matter - the other one is for an astigmatism.I'm a female Jack Duckworth but I'm lost if I dont have them.
Anyone heard of an invention?

I can feel an invention and patent coming on here:)
mr pointment - I apologise for being sharp - I thought you were one those people who go about just being rude on any post.
Think a 1 pair of specs are in order to put in my massive fruit bowl in the kitchen which had no fruit in it and is full of lottery tickets (just in case) and things I cant home immediately!!!
For every room where you take your glasses off have one specific place to put them.
It's a bit of faddle, but it saves me a lot of frustration.
If you need to take them on and off frequently think about a spectacle cord, so you can dangle them around your neck.
Not a cool look, I know.
Technically, it's feasible, but economically...?

Have you tried a spectacle cord?
Thanks for that alfie - I have tried a cord but the specs then get in the way. There is just no pleasing me!
Is there anyone else, like me astounded that there hasnt been a device to locate specs, and without googling I suspect approx 70% at least will wear them at some point in their lives.
Mind you - thinking of Ethels remark - just imagine you were out shopping and the bin man whistled to his driver to move on and your specs started giving out a high pierced screech along with a throbbing red lasor light on the leg of the specs.
I think I'm gonna have to stick with the 1 spare pair in my non fruit bowl:)
