Weird Questions

Not quite sure where to put this question, but here seemed the closest....

Have you ever seen a question on here or any other forum and thought "Why in God's name do you want to know the answer to that?" Or "How does your mind work in order to ask that kind of question?"

I've posted 2370 answers since I signed up to AB last September. I used to wonder why people asked the questions; these days I just answer them blindly!

Although, now I come to think about it, why would someone post a question headed 'Weird Questions' . . . :-)

I quite agree Chris. Why on earth would you want to know why people want an answer to their weird Qs, BOO.?

Everything/one is strange until it/they is/are understood. Asking questions is the first step to demystification. The fear that the answer may be more bizarre than the question should not dissuade us from our pursuit of wisdom.
Being afraid to confront weirdness will only result in condemning oneself to creepiness.

mibn2cweus, as I live in Greece, it was actually 02.19 when I posted that message. This one should clock in at (about) 8.30, but it's 10.24 on my watch. I often work through the night, and at some point I take a break to visit here. On the nights I'm really tired, my answers sometimes have a slightly surreal flavour. I noticed you were veeeery busy last night!

I once saw a question from someone wanting to know where they could get Phil Collins concert tickets, and I thought, dear god, what kind of a deranged lunatic would want to know that.

I think since the baby walker, heart attack, skipping, toothbrush onslaught .... we are never amazed anymore, however one does sometimes wonder why someone asks a question when you can find the answer on the internet in a nanosecond.
