When the man comes and empties septic tanks, where does all the sewage go afterwards?

They go and empty it at the sewage works, or they spread it on farmland.

So at some point in my life I may have eaten my own poo or even worse someone elses. :-0

possibly in a round about way I suppose-I'm not sure whether that's terribly common but they do it in my part of the world! might explain few things...

Another little thought for you. All the water in the world is the same water since the planet began. The water you drink has passed through dinosaurs, Romans and possibly your grandmother.

For that matter everything has been something else at some time so you may well have eaten a dinosaur or somebodies grandmother or at least some molecules of them.

I remember attending a road crash where we had to free a woman who had slammed into the back of a muckspreader which was operating at the time. The force of the impact had removed the spreading hose and liquid slurry was spilling everywhere. She was soooo lucky not to have drowned in the stuff. Yuck, what a way to go!

Yep......what goes around comes around......recycling in a big way. What with all that we're flushing down the drains, spreading on the ground, and pumping into the stratosphere we're all doomed!
Is the idea not to enjoy life and leave it to our grandchildren to sort out?

when I was at Glastonbury Festival I developed a huge phobia of the tankers that went round emptying the toilets because somebody told me they'd heard about a worker accidentally switching the 'blow' button instead of the 'suck' button when close to a large group of people.

i think it is recycled to make politictians , ie blair and bush are prime examples haha
