The m shaped ones have 2 strings you can use to steer the kite. lightly pull the string you want to steer toward. pull right steer right, pull left steer left. they take alot of getting used to and you may even break a few before you get good at it. start off by laying the kite on the ground with thi strings toward the sky and with the tip of the kite pointing in the direction the wind is blowing. then walk the strings out to full distance keeping them paralell. then pull the strings back until the kite stands up. then when you are ready, pull both strings back at the exact same time with the exact same pressure and the kite will lift. its best to get the kite over your head and then lightly pull the strings to steer it. when you want it to stop turning you bring the string back even with the other one. dont give up on it because once you learn it its lots of fun.
