Hooking Ordinary Dishwasher up to a sink?
1 Answers
We are moving into rented accomodation for six months only and I am dreading not having a dishwasher! I've seen the tabletop dishwashers and I know they hook up to the sink to use. I'm afraid those won't be big enough for our needs (I do A LOT of cooking) and I am wondering if it is possible to somehow take a regular dishwasher and hook it up to the sink and unhook when not in use, like the tabletop ones? Can someone explain how to go about doing this with a regular dishwasher? Thanks!

If you have plumbing ready for an automatic washing machine you could use the cold feed pipe for the dishwasher, you can buy a y connecter inch and connect your hose from the dishwasher to that and obviously you need to connect the waste to the drain
You can also buy a DIY outside tap kit from any good DIY store as this would also provide a water supply for your dishwasher just follow the instructions on how to install it
