There were three differnt hand shakes. On hand shake was an apprentice hand shake. When a new mason came on to a job site he would shake hands with the master mason. The master would be able to tell his level by the way he shook hands. Then there was the journeyman hand shake. And the master hand shake. Only the master would know all three. AS far as the actual hand shake it's self i wouldn't know.
