Does our ability to taste change over time, for example with increasing age? Also is there any evidence that people are becoming more sensitive as the range of foods eaten increases with each generation?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.i can't speak for anyone else, but i find i like things now like dark chocolate and olives that i hated upto a few years ago (i'm 33 now), i'm not sure why though my range of foods has always been broad from day oneand some of the things that i loved as a child (and still do) make people squirm chinese dried prunes with salt and licorice being a prime example!
