How do I get a DVD recorder to record freeview channels from an integrated TV (rather than a set top box)?

Can you record from the TV? Assuming you can, that is your answer - as it's integrated the TV MUST be on - when the TV is off, so is the digital reciever.

And if you can't record from the TV, all you need is a scart lead in the AV sockets.

Hi, I hadn't thought about the Digital receiver being off when the TV is off - doh! However, I can't get the DVD recorder to recognise the digital channels even with the TV on. I've got scart leads. Scart 1 goes to the DVD recorder and scart 2 to a VCR. Is there something else I'm doing wrong, settings or something? Thanks.
You need to select "AV in" as the recording source for the DVD when recording from the TV
