My seven yr old son has asked me this question which I am unable to answer. Any ideas? 'What is the most powerful tank in the world and what is the fastest tank in the world'. Your answers are awaited by a very curious seven yr old and a flumoxed mother!!!

The S 2000 PEACEKEEPER - the latest version of the British Scorpion tank used by the Royal Brunei Armed Forces - has been officially recognised as the world's fastest tank.

A CVR(T) Scorpion tank, upgraded to the latest Repaircraft PLC S 2000 PEACEKEEPER, clocked an average speed of 82.23kph/ 51.10 mph during a speed test timed by the UK police and MMST, and witnessed by officials from the Guinness Book of Records.

I was shown round a base that had a few dozen tanks a few years ago, and when asked "How strong is the armour exactly?" they would say that they can't tell us that, and when asked "What do you put in the armour?" they would say that they can't tell us that. It seems that they always have something a lot better than what they want the general public to know about.

What you have to remember Squirrel is it has to be, because otherwise all that research they've spent money on becomes useless because somebody can take what they've spent years and countless millions on developing and modify it to have the upper hand on its creators minus all the developing and manufacturing hassles
