Possibly stating the obvious, have you checked the pilot light is still on?.
I think you'd be able to hear the pump if it was working. During the summer months it may have got a bit stuck. There's usually some method of getting the propellers in the pump to rotate a few times, maybe a large screw head on its centre. Failing that I'd ask a local plumbers merchants or contact the manufacturers website.
Garamond is right. I have to do it every year after the winter.
Undo the big screw on the front of the pump and poke around inside with a smaller screwdriver. The pump should then start turning. Replace the front screw and thats it.
Do you mean your hot water from your taps, your water in your radiators or both?. Also is your system gravity fed or a pumped system?

In a gravity fed system the hot water in the hot water tank is heated via heat rising and not hot water being pumped into the hot water tank as in a pumped system. Thereore if the pump is not working it wont stop you getting hot water from your hot tap but only to your radiators. so you could have a problem with the boiler i.e thermocouple.

If it is a fully pumped system then you could still have a problem with the thermo couple if the boiler wont light.
It could also be the pump or a motorised valve. If your heatings not working then it could be a thermostat problem.
I have a similar problem and have been tol to check the motorised valve, but can anyone tell me what im checking for, will there be an audible or visible sign thats its doing something?
