hi - you kindly answered my Q re strip lights. i've managed to change the bulb, and bought yet another starter switch - 4-65w as you advised - and it still don't light. it DOES spark when i push the bulb up (creating a better contact with the starter, i guess..?) what'smy next step. extremely frustrated but grateful fb!! TA

Sounds like the choke has gone, probably better just to get a new fitting if you have replaced tube and starter.
