My father has an outboard motor with a plate stating that it was made by "Kelston Eng. Co. Ltd.", but I'm unable to find any data about this company online. Their address is listed as Lodge Causeway, Bristol, England.
Thanks for any help on this.

This may be a lead. This company is an engineering firm called Kelston in Bristol. They make gears. They may be able to confirm or deny making your motor.

Thanks Mortartube, I had found them, but they don't seem to be the one. They have no info about having previously made outboards. I'll keep trying. Thanks again.
