I was with T-mobile for years and if I wanted to know how much free allowance for calls and texts I had remaining I could either freephone their automated service or check it on their website. I have recently switched to O2 and cannot find how to do this. The O2 website will not let me. Any ideas?

Sorry - forgot to say it is on a monthly contract and I get inclusive free minutes. I want to know how to check how much I've used.
ok. i have that too. for call times, check you call records and there should be timers which you can reset. as for txt....if you dont have a txt counter then i think you would need to phone cust services.
Hello,

I am on an o2 contract and you can definatley check your remaining tetxs and minutes online its long winded though.

This is how to do it (im rubbish at instructions so I apologise now) once you have signed in it will say my 02 on the top left click on my account and online services, then click on online bill under the view my bill section, lots of links will appear on the left click on the unbilled summary link, there will be a heading saying savings and rewards underneath that is a click thats says inclusive allowance details if you click that link it will allow you to select your mobile number click on your number and it will open up and show you all the texts and minutes you have left.

you can also view an itemised bill of every text and call you have made as well.

hope that helps. Clare
I had a Sony Ericsson phone on my o2 contract which has a SMS counter, i just reset that each month when i got my minutes...

be careful with o2, they are crooks!..It can take upto 4 days for calls and texts to appear on your online bill..

.and it seems impossible to get through to 'online customer service'

You may end up going way over you minutes/SMS without even knowing!
i used to call 4444 on my mobile and follow the instructions and they would give me how many remaining minutes and texts i had. hope this helps
