Have had sky in lounge and upstairs bedroom (off same box in lounge) for about 7 years.Worked perfectly well until....... Bought a new telly (Samsung HDReady jobby) which has some digital channels on it.
I can still receive Sky in bedroom but I can't change sky channel with control - have to change it on the downstairs system . Anyone any ideas why, or how to overcome this ?

are you using a tv link ?

Not that I am aware of ! What is it ?
Didn't use one with the other telly - will that have changed ?
I do not understand how you were able to change Sky channels upstairs on your old TV setup without using a remote extender such as these...

Yes kempie, sorry we did use one of those but it doesn't seem to work on the new one.
larkin that is what i meant by a tv link. i had a problem with mine a while ago and the guy came to repair it. all that was wrong was......you know how there is the outer cable (flex) and then the actual inner wire is covered in very fine strands, well one (and i mean one ) of the thin strands was touching the actual wire. make sure all this fine strands are well pulled back and it should be ok.
