hair straighteners

i broke my girl friends hair straighteners..

i dropped them down the stairs..

they dont look damaged but they wont turn on, it there any way of working out if they are fixable?

you could put them on ebay and state they are faulty - i did this with my ghd's that were faulty and sold them for �25 - put that money then towards a new pair! there's lots of people on ebay that buy them!

shes demanded i replace them but they are a very expensive make, i was hoping to fix them temporarily and buy the replacements later on in the month..
