when i download a film of kazaa, the picture & soun is perfect but sometimes the picture freezes at a certain point in the film but the sound carries on any ideas how to eliminate this problem. its a bit frustrating when i'm trying to put them on vcd to watch on my stndalone dvd player.

How about quit downloaded pirated movies and buy original DVD's? The picture will look superb comared to VCD quality, and it won't jump at all.

I have had this problem and it was solved by changing the display settings on my computer .I cant remember what they were exactly ( probably yours is different anyway) so you just need to play around with the settings to see which works best for you .
