Dvd recorder /TV query
2 Answers
I have a DVD recorder /TV/Ntl set top box /Xbox set up.
Although Ive had the recorder for a while Ive not yet sorted out all the bits and pieces. It does record well when Ive plugged in a video camera etc but I have found that if I want to record a DVD of a programme then the TV has to be on.
Unfortunately I only realised this AFTER last Sundays Final F1 transmission. :-(
Is there a guide anywhere for plugging everything in in the correct sequence?

hi babana
you have 2 scart socket on your ntl box 1 should go to your TV and the other to your dvd. you then select the channel you want to record on the ntl box then set up your dvd recorder to record on the AV channel that should work but try it out first, and while you are recording dont change the channel on your ntl box ,if you want to watch another channel you will need to revert back to your normal channels ie itv ,bbc ect
hope this helps
if it does not work contact customer service
