You can split the output signal from the sky box at the rf out and run a long rf cable to the tv upstairs. If you don't want to deal with long cables, you could connect the sky box to a 'video sender' which re-broadcasts the signal around your house. With luck you can then tune any tv in the house in to sky. I say 'with luck' because video senders tend to have a fairly limited range and the position of walls and furniture in the house can affect them. The position of the dish has nothing to do with it, it is the box that matters. You can control the channel change using one of the devices that send remote control signals from one room to the one in which the sky box is situated.
