i'be got a pretty old philips tv,and i wastrying to tune it in and i accidentily locked it :/ and now i cant unlock it,and im worried im going to have to buy a new tv. i havent got a working remote for the tv (i used the buttons on the tv to get to the menu and stuff) so i cant even get back to the menu,could i buy a universal remote and fix it that way ?
anyone know ?

In my experience the universal remotes don't include the menu/tuning buttons, just the usual channel/volume/text etc

well i only really need the across button,because one of the remotes i have can get the menu up,it just wont go across so i cant unlock it.
