Why, has your canine friend requested it?
Because humans eat all parts of the pig, so there is non left over for dog food.
How do dogs know what flavour it is anyway? Do they go 'Yum....chicken today!' or 'Oh no, not rabbit again!!'

I bet 'beef' dog food tastes absolutely nothing like beef anyway and the same for other pet food.

I know it's not strictly answering your question but it made me wonder!
As Ethel suggests, it is said that - re pigs - humans eat "Everything but the Oink!"
It's a little known fact that (after the great conversion of the second century) most dogs are Jewish, and therefore to avoid problems, the manufacturers only use kosher meat in all dog foods.
No, you listen to the barks. They are very quickly shouting "Allah Aqbah"
I was told by a vet once not to feed any Dog Pork or pork derived products as there is something in Pork that has an effect on dogs and can make them ill. However - one old woman told me it made her dog randy ??!?!? It's maybe something like that ??
How did she know? And did she feed him pork regularly? The dirty old bird...
Well it did things or tried to - to her leg !! And yes this didn't put her off feeding the little rat. When she didn't feed him it she says it didn't happen - she was 80 odd and I think she thought it was funny !!
They do. .
The biege coloured bones that dogs chew (from pet shops or places like wilkinsons) are all made from pig skin or pig ears.
meaning that pork is used in forms of dog food.
the bones do help promote healthy teeth but they do infact eat them as well as just chewing on them.
