How do I find out what spped my Broadband is operating at?

Sorry to be such a technophobe.

Officially? It should say somewhere in the details you got from your ISP.

Try this also, it's pretty good:

Look at the bottom right hand of screen of your task bar. Click on the little arrow and hover your mouse over the icon that resembles a tv screen. It will tell you straight away the speed your broadband is currently running at.
Sorry Vanilla Face but the speed shown at the bottom right is only the maximum not the actual.

Mine says 12Mbps but Speednet said 1932kb/s
