How can I create a cell formula to work what PERCENTAGE a number is of another value to save using a calculator each time.
i.e say what percentage is 125 of 500 which we know to be 25%

Try this:- put your value (125) in say B1, other value (500) in B2. In the cell you want your answer type =B1/B2. Go to format, cell, number and click on percetage. Cheers, Andy
