I keep getting phoned all the time by a mobile number, at home, at work and on my mobile, so it must be someone I have informed of these numbers.

But I still do not know who it is, I avoid call slike this because of the work I do I get bothered alot with unwanted calls, it could be a business associate which I am avoiding so I not want to ring the number to see.

I do know this associate has a phone contract as apposed to pay as you go, and it might be voda phone. Is there anyway of finding out who the hell this is or whether I could dis-count this client as the person calling.

I am afraid to answer the phone now as they just keep ringing....any help much appreicated.

Doy you have credit cards? Most call centres - CR, Sales or Fraud detection - come through as Private Number.
You can now register a mobile number with TPS.
http://www.mpsonline.org.uk/tps/

You will find these types of calls should stop within 30 days. :o)
eh? can't you ring the number, withholding your number, don't speak or anything...and you might recognise the voice or they might answer with their name? that would at least help to discount this client (great customer service btw if you are avoiding them!)
why not ask a friend to call the number and try and find out who it is?

Thanks for the answers so far

rja lol customer service they are not a client but the person who wants to be a client and well ....I dont want them as client....enough said.
I agree with redcrx. Phone them...or even better get someone else to...and of course withold your number.

Even cheekier, try a reverse charge call. That'll soon show how keen they are to speak to you!
or just answer it and just say no to whatever they want you to do/

lol thanks for all the answers.

but

I found out who the hell it was....

I cleared all the messages off the home phone recorded a new answer phone message.

And then last night the number rang again so I left it and sure enough they left a message ........yay

It turned out to be an electrican from the letting agents wanting to arrange a time to come a fix some faulty items at my property I have complained about.

I had actually phoned the letting agent tyesterday to ask them if the electrian had been trying to call me and they said no and that wasn't his mobile number.......well what can you do???
Jesus, what a plum!!
