Depends on which brand of mp3 player you have.Did it come with software to manage downloads.

The more basic mp3 players ,which I have, connect to your pc via a usb lead.Then in My Computer you will see something like removeable disk.You then either drag your mp3 songs from My Music or similar where you store the songs to this device or copy and paste into it.
