Mobile Phone

I've seen a Mobile Phone that I fancy. Unfortunately though, it's got Vodaphone written on it. I'd rather stick to T-Mobile, so even though it's a brand new phone, does that mean that it's locked to the Vodaphone network? Can't I just put my old sim card into the phone, and carry on as before?

If it is locked then u can pay the network or some dodgy guy to get the authorisaton code. Hope this helps.
