having bought a farm with a friend and convertied the barn into another house, how do we go about splitting the deed for the original property into two seperate deeds ?

It involves only two sets of identical Forms from the Land Registry, a couple of plans, LR Fees of just over �100 and two SDLT Certificates. All easy DIY for the average person. Speak to your local District Land Registry Office who will guide you through.
