(If the digibox has an output labelled 'VCR', 'DVDR', 'Aux' or 'Recorder', use that one for preference. Otherwise use 'TV' or, where appropriate, the sole output. If there's more than one Scart socket on the video recorder, look for one labelled 'Input', 'Aux' or possibly 'Cable'). It's sometimes possible to have other equipment in the line up (i.e. between the Freeview box and the recorder) but this can complicate matters. Keep it simple if possible!
You can only record from the Freeview box while it's switched on. Also, you can only record the channel which the box is tuned to. (You can't record one channel, while watching another, because you've only got one tuner). So, ensure that the Freeview box is on and switched to the correct channel. Then program the video recorder to record from 'AV' (and not from any numbered channel).

PS: I've just re-read your question. More accurately, I've just re-read the heading to your question. (The wording of the question suggested that you had a Freeview box. The heading seems to make it clear that your TV has Freeview built in).
The substance of my answer remains basically unchanged. Simply connect the Scart lead from the TV to the input of the recorder. You'll still be able to record the Freeview program by setting the recorder to record 'AV'. As indicated above, you'll have to leave the TV switched on and you'll only be able to record the programme which is shown on the TV screen.
Sorry for the confusion! ;-)
