Help with Nokia 6300 please !

When I go into Contacts, TWO names and numbers come up on the screen, which is very confusing, I always tend to dial the 'black' one instead of the 'highlighted' one as it is easier to see. Is there any way of changing the colour of the contacts so the correct one has the black type face, and more importantly, can you change the settings so that only ONE name comes up at a time instead of two on the screen?? Very very confusing !! Thanks all

I think it has something to do with your numbers being stored on the sim card and on the phone itself. If you delete all your phone contacts but not your sim - only one will appear for each entry.

Under the address book you should have a settings option. Select this to choose SIM and phone, SIM only or Phone only

Thanks, but it's not two the same, it's two different names and phone numbers .. two which are next to each other alphabetically, names and phone numbers .. so there are two different names on screen with their two phone numbers at the same time. Does this make sense ?!
