iPod sounds awful

I have charged my ipod nano which I havent done for a while and when playing musioc on the computer it sounds distorted. Is it my computer or does iTunes do this sometimes?

No that shouldn't be happening.

Right-click the quicktime icon bottom-right of your screen, and choose the quicktime settings (it'll say something like that, anyway -- not at a computer to see for myself so relying on memory). Make sure it's not set to 4bit or anything like that -- it should be 16bit or above.

Other than that, download and install the latest iTunes. You won't lose your library.

thanks for that. I have just downloaded latest itunes so maybe that when it happened. I'll try it again later and see if I can fix it.
