Royal Mail's Smart-Stamp....AARRGgghh!!

Has anyone else out there in the ether been trying to use 'Smart-Stamp' and any1 experienced Major problems trying to print, or more precisely get the printed area positioned correctly on the label/envelope. I'm being slowly driven mad by it, even our IT guy was driven away in a white van...any1 have any advice or know where I can find help in the form of a forum etc....don't give me the helpline number as the phones are manned by monkeys!!!

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.It's a new system for offices to sent their post, instead of sticking on stamps or using a franking machine, you print out your own 'stamps' as it were on your own PC, it's kinda like 'Pay as you go' stamps as your credit decreased every time you print a stamp.....obviously no-one out there works!!!!
Sorry, can't offer any advice other than to do what I have just done, which is cancel the account and go back to buying stamps! Old fashioned and outdated though that is, at least it works, which is more than can be said for Smartstamp!
I would recommend everyone to avoid it like the plague until the PO move into the 21st. century!

Sorry, I can't offer any solutions, other than to do what I have just done and cancel the account!
Their website and support arrangements are archaic, and need to be made relevant to the 21st.Century, and I would advise anyone considering purchase of this so called service to spend their money on stamps instead. Archaic and outdated certainly but at least reliable.
