Lost the handbook for this phone and need to know
a) how to change the amount of rings before the answer machine message steps in
Appreciate any help with this phone - memory like a sieve lately !

If it is the same as my BT Freelance XA3000 then:-

a) Press and hold the SKIP button on the base unit until the current setting is announced, then release.

b) Press and release the SKIP button to move through the settings, with each press the options will be announced and will be shown on the base unit display, ie. 8,9, Time saver, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7.

When you hear the setting you want, do not press the SKIP button again. After a short delay your chosen setting will be announced.
Hope this works.

now i have forgotten how to record and save an outgoing message - thanks for your help so far !
