trying to feed two tvs off one aerial. tried a splitter box but not much sucess however the aerial is poor in the loftspace and i will replace it with a better version that is cai approved. why do i need 'f' plugs for the splitter connection and why are they such a pain with ordinary co axile

you can use splitters if the signal is strong/good. if not try a booster box with two or more outlets.these have to be plugged in the mains but don't use much power.
