I was just looking for a PS2 game and noticed that the PC version of the same game was �10 cheaper. Is the game play on a pc 25% worse, or is the price difference just down to the Sony licence?

I think Sony are still losing money on the consoles so they are trying to recoup with the games. The beauty of the PS2 is that the games will always run perfectly whereas the PC games will run depending on how good your PC is (which has to be pretty high-end to play the new generation of 3D games).
