i've just been given a sanyo tv but with no remote, it works with my sky remote for volume and channels etc but i need to tune the tv in, anyone know a way i can do it without having to buy a new sanyo remote? thank you Lorraine x

Assuming you don't have the manual you could try downloading the manual from sanyo's website. Most manufactures let you do I know panasonic do, however they're normally in pdf's so you might need adobe reader.
if you are using it with sky . why dont you just connect it with a scart lead then you will not have to tune the tv
Connect the Sky box to the TV with the scart lead, use the Sky remote to change the TV channel to 'Auxiliary' ( usually called A1, A2 or channel '0' ). You can now change the channels with the Sky remote. You won't be able to watch anything through your roof ariel though assuming you still have that plugged in.
If you want to re-tune your TV to get the terrestrial channels through your rooftop ariel, you will need to buy a remote.
