The hot water tap on our bathroom sink seems to flow only on the last half turn before it is fully open, it a washer job and if so how do you access it?

It shows two different types of taps, although there are many more designs esp modern types they all work in the same way inside. I had a similar promblem, but it wasn't a washer that needed attention it was the jumper inside which had become loose. Quck fix with a spanner is all that it needed.
Hi The problem is that with the new type taps you have a hexaganol shaft with a circlip holding the spindle
turn off water, take off the circlip seperate the tap into single components and grease with (lard) replace all components making sure that the hexaganal shaft is fully home refit the circlip and all should be OK
