Stacking kitchen appliances
2 Answers
Hi,
I just bought a condenser dryer. I see you can buy a thingy for stacking it on top of a washing machine, but was wondering if it would work as well on top of a freezer?
It looks a wee bit simple to take all the weight of a dryer if you ask me, but then what do I know...

Freezers need a clearance at the back for the extracted heat to dissipate; essential if it's a built in one, but obviously not the case in this instance. Check with the freezer manufacturer about required circulation, though it should cope with the weight alright.
Yes, the frame used for stacking is very simple as all it is really is a locating frame to stop the tumbledryer from moving from its position. If the frame wasn't there, the feet would leave dents in the top of the unit it's standing on.
