excel page breaks
2 Answers
Hi all, I'm looking for a way to print out an excel document so that all the rows with the same unit in one column are printed on the same page, while other unit numbers are on diff. pages. I think this has something to do with "page breaks" any ideas from you computer whizzes out there?
Thanks in advance!

go to file at the top of the screen and page set up (choose to fit on 1 page)
that should do it, remember you can choose the print preview option before printing to enusre its the right size.
The other way is to highlight the part you want to print, then go to set print area in the file tab....then only the part of the sheet you highlighted will print....again print preview first.
hope you manage to sort it!!

Try this: sort it on the column you want, then place your cursor in the field in column A immediately under where you want it to break.. Go to the Insert menu at the top, then click on Page Break. Repeat as necessary down the workbook. Any problems, reply to this.
As Ricky says, you can go to the Print Preview option from the File menu and check that you've done it right.
